Adapting the PSP to an SME context
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper describes how the PSP (Personal Software Process) defined by Watts Humphrey, and specifically the PSP0, has been adapted to be applied in the same way by all members of a software development team in a SME (Small Medium Enterprise). The adaptation allows each member to collect the same measures and use the same process. Therefore measures can be aggregated at the team level, on an anonymous basis. While final results regarding variations in quality and productivity due to the PSP are not yet available, the experiment demonstrates that the PSP is a superior tool to rationalize the process in SMEs or small teams, gaining active participation of the staff.
